THE BAILEY METHOD FOOTWORK & ACCREDITATION
What is The Bailey Method?
The Bailey Method (TBM) is a unique yet
universally applicable approach to
teaching and learning tennis footwork,
movement and balance. After thousands of
hours of researching professional tennis
play, David Bailey has developed a tight
range of specific movements which give
the perfect movement so a player can
react to and master every ball they hit.
Unlike more traditional methods of
teaching footwork, TBM uses a set
language (appropriate for all ages and
standard of play) to teach progressive
tennis footwork drills, balance and
movement. TBM also encourages positive
habits and improves fitness, speed and
agility resulting in a responsive and
relaxed approach to winning tennis.

Testimonial
After Just Four Weeks of working with
Dave and The Bailey Method I went on to Win My
First Title.
Not only did my ranking jump from about
300 to 98, I am now a Grand Slam Main Draw
Competitor! I can hardly believe it myself! In
Just 9 months I played in my 1st Open Grand Slam
and I’ve risen to a Ranking of 98 in the world.
This is a fantastic start to the year for me,
playing in my 1st Grand Slam and having jumped
Over 200 positions in less than 10 months to a
W.T.A. ranking of 98. I can’t overstate the
importance of the work that I have done with
Dave. It has been such a confidence booster and
so great for my mind as well. Now I feel so much
more confident and faster on the court and I
cope so much better with everything. I can play
much longer matches and I feel ready to fight!
The Bailey Method has given me a blue print - a
very easy way of understanding the footwork and
the language. I know exactly how to keep
improving on my footwork for the future.
