- Beginners start off by learning and
doing self practice of co-ordination,
movement, balance and ball skills. Once they
get into rhythm and gain confident in these
basic skills, they can learn the racquet and
footwork skills required to play all the
basic tennis shots.
- Those who have played before but who are
out of touch or practice or have lost their
fitness can get fit and strong again and
then start on updating their obsolete
movement, balance moves and today’s far more
explosive shots.
- Participants will consistently elevate
their heart rates into their aerobic
training zone which is about 65-85% of their
maximum heart rate therefore increasing
their cardiovascular benefits.
- Participants can burn more calories in a
given time period than playing singles or
doubles tennis since there is there is less
down time than when playing matches.
- With each exercise, the individual can
choose to increase or decrease intensity,
loading, explosive power and repetitions.
- Participants will receive an interval
type training workout that is both fun and
painless due to the positive, energized
social environment.
- Blast isn’t just for tennis players who
can improve their game. Athletes from any
sport can work on their co-ordination and
stamina. For body builders, Tennis Blast is
a good way to improve quickness and agility.
- Participants will improve their tennis
skills, aerobic and anaerobic fitness. This
includes swing patterns and body rotation
plus reactions and reflexes, speed, agility,
strength, endurance and flexibility. Tennis

left, right, high, low, in fast or medium
succession.
